Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is an arbitrator on television for Caso Cerrado. She also hosts Ana Polo Rules. Ana, who was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father at 2 years old, relocated to Miami together with them. In Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo hosts of the well-known Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish show to be nominated a Daytime Entertainment Emmy(r) Award, and it was named the number one Spanish-language program at 4pm across the key demos. Polo, born on April 11th, 1959 in Havana Cuba was a graduate of Florida International University in Political Sciences. Then, she obtained her PhD in law from The University of Miami. For 20 years, Polo worked in Miami. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo was first shown to the public via television in 2001 on Telemundo's program Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other court shows in which her legal expertise was tapped. Literature Accolades and Literary works In the year 1958, she wrote her first book Los Hijos Muertos. It received the Critic's Prize for Literature, as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain for her home in the United States 1960. Polo often speaks and is able to in raising funds for the campaign. Polo has been an active supporter of LGBT rights for the majority of her life.
