Harry Edward Styles or Harry Styles as he's referred to to the world of pop music, is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles belongs to the group One Direction. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England, Styles is the child of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School in which he started his own group of musicians with three classmates, which was named the White Eskimo. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, they were also a part of the Battle of Bands in the Battle of Bands 2010. He always had an interest in music but also wanted to become a lawyer, physiotherapist or even scout. As a worker in the city's bakery Harry Styles managed to provide for his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 made an audition for The X Factor. His track Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. The group was then forced to break up due to this. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a new band called One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year 2010. They performed The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In result, they were among the finalists. They were in third position behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which won. Harry Styles' group didn't win, but Cowell nevertheless paid $2 million to One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
