Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a popular American following her win on American Idol's first season. It was not just a major success, but it earned the singer a contract to record several albums with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records. In the years since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. Of those albums three made it to the top of the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also near the top. They consider her to be one of the greatest success American Idol artists. After achieving success, she explored a variety of themes and music styles often co-writing her songs in accordance of her own feelings. The singer received critical acclaim as well as numerous prestigious awards for her individuality and singing prowess. One of her most memorable achievements is that she won the Grammy Award three times. Apart from her music career she has appeared in films and television shows. In addition, she is the author of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organisations.
