Allison Stokke has been a pole vaulter for over 20 years. She was born on the 22nd of March, 1989, at Newport Beach California. The photo she took at her 17th birthday celebration in 2007 became viral and she was transformed into a Pole Vaulter. Instagram as well as Twitter has seen her gain a huge social media following. Matt Ufford had threatened to pursue the photographer over not removing the image. However, the news story had well-known and attracted a lot of interest. A website dedicated to Stokke was soon up and running with a number of pictures of her participating in the pole vault and following the spread of these photos via social media internet fan forums, they gained hundreds of followers.
