Mischa Barton and Nadia Elena Comaneci

Mischa Barton was born on on January 24, 1986, in the city of Hammersmith, England. On the television series The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She also appeared on The Sixth Sense a suspense movie. The O.C. that she was a part of was a cult TV series. The O.C. was a massively popular TV series that she starred alongside. Benjamin McKenzie was her love attraction. Barton was in a relationship with Benjamin McKenzie, who played the love interest. Barton made her first television appearance in 1994 when she played the young Corvina in flashbacks of the soap show All My Children. Then in 1996 she returned to All My Children and replaced Michelle Trachtenberg who played Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes in the TV show Once and Again, as Jessie Samueller's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover. In 2001, Barton went back to acting, and was a part of an independently-produced Canadian film called Lost and Delirious. It was based on her Susan Swan novel The Wives of Bath. Barton together with co-stars Jessica Pare, Piper Perabo had mixed receptions. Julie Johnson (2002), where Lili Taylor as well as Courtney Love played the daughters of lesbians who had an affair. Barton had also a role as a back-up actor in the 2001 independent film Tart which starred Brad Renfro and Dominique Swain. Her return to Romania with a hero's welcome. Comaneci's Olympic medal count grew to nine medals following four years of participation in the Olympics of 1980. In 1996 Comaneci was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame and, in 1999, she was honoured by ABC News and Ladies Home Journal for being named one of 100 of the Most Important women in the 20th Century. Comaneci wed Olympic Champion Bart Conner on April 16 on the 16th of April, 1996. The couple is blessed with one son, Dylan Paul. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy is one of many business in gymnastics they co-own. Comaneci has also been involved in various charities being a part of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association as well as Laureus Sports For Good Foundation Board of Directors. In the years since, she is still a major supporter of dozens more charities within her homeland of Romania. They include the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
