Mischa Barton was born on 24 January 1986 in Hammersmith, the United Kingdom. The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. She has also appeared as a character in The Sixth Sense a movie that is suspenseful. The O.C. which she appeared in was a hit TV series. The O.C., a hugely popular TV series on which she played. along with Benjamin McKenzie who played her lover. Benjamin McKenzie played her romantic interest. Barton first appeared on television in 1994, playing the role of a young Corvina Lang, in flashbacks from the soap-opera All My Children. In 1996, she took over Michelle Trachtenberg's role as Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes in the TV show Once and Again, as Jessie Sammler's (Evan Rachel Wood) lover. Barton returned into the film business in 2001 and starred as Katie Singer in Lost and Delirious. The film was based on Susan Swan's book The Wives of Bath. The film got mixed reviews. But the performances of Barton as well as Co-stars Piper Perabo and Jessica Pare were widely praised.
